A monthly meter-reading reminder that sends itself

Collecting meter readings from a tenant usually means someone has to remember to send them the portal link. In Estate Pigeon, rental property management software for landlords, you can now turn that into something that just happens — turn on one setting for a tenant, and they'll get an email with their portal link at the start of every month, without you lifting a finger.

One checkbox in the tenant's settings

There's a new option in the tenant edit form — "Automatically send the link to the tenant on the 1st of each month". Turn it on and save, and the tenant starts receiving the same email they'd otherwise get from your manual "Send link by email" button — just without you having to click it.

Never sent twice

The reminder only goes out once per calendar month, even if you also send the link manually in between or edit the tenant's other details — no duplicate emails landing in your tenant's inbox.

It's a small addition meant to take one more thing off your plate. Estate Pigeon already emails a tenant if they haven't submitted a reading in a while — now you can also set a standing monthly nudge that goes out before they even have a chance to forget.
