1. Data controller

The controller of personal data processed in connection with the use of the Estate Pigeon application is C2D, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland, VAT/Tax ID (NIP): 5661880785, registered address: ul. Wiejska 24, 05-110 Jabłonna, Poland (the "Controller"). Contact for data protection matters: info@estatepigeon.com.

2. What data we process

• Account data — email address, first name, last name, password (stored hashed).
• Data entered in the app — properties, meters and their readings, tenant data (first name, last name, email, phone, address), which the User enters themselves as the controller of that data.
• Billing data — handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, which as a separate controller processes data required to process payments (e.g. card details, billing address). Estate Pigeon does not store payment card data.
• Technical data — IP address and server logs, to the extent necessary to keep the service secure.

With respect to tenant data entered by the User, the User acts as the controller of that data, and Estate Pigeon acts as a processor on the User's behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Providing the service and managing the account — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
• Billing and payments — Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR (performance of a contract, tax obligations).
• Handling inquiries and complaints — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

4. Recipients of data

Data may be shared with providers supporting the service: hosting providers, email delivery providers (sending statements and notifications), and Paddle.com Market Limited (payment processing). Data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area except as required by the use of the above services, which are covered by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).

5. Retention period

Account data and data entered in the app is retained for the lifetime of the account and up to 30 days after its deletion (backups), unless a longer period is required by law (e.g. tax law).

6. User rights

The User has the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of their data, to data portability, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland or their local supervisory authority.

7. Cookies

The website and app use only essential cookies (e.g. to keep you logged in) and store language preferences in your browser's local storage. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

Users will be notified of material changes to this policy by email or an in-app notice.
